Mental Training Inc. (MTI), a world leader in mental skills training programs, is proud to announce two local fighters are embracing the importance of mental training in combat sports. MTI is sponsoring William Campuzano and Sean Spencer in UFC 171 in Dallas, Texas, on March 15, 2014.
Twenty-seven year old William Campuzano is an East Texas native who fights out of Team Mohler in Coppell, Texas. As an up and coming flyweight contender, Will, known as “Yum-yum” to friends and sparring partners, has worked his mental game off and on throughout his career. As a long-time client of Dr. Brad Jurica, Will is a mature 27 who understands the fight business and how a sharp mind can prevail in deep waters. With almost twenty professional fights, Will is a veteran of the sport and continues to hone his mental and physical skills as he works his way back into title contention. According to Dr. Brad, “…Will’s experience and overall maturity in this sport will be his guide going into UFC 171. Focusing on the process and aspects that he can control, will greatly behoove Will going into Saturday night’s matchup.”
Since turning pro in 2009, Sean Spencer has had two wins by KO, two by submission, and won five of his last six matches. As a client of Dr. Brad J. Jurica since 2011, Sean’s understanding of the fight game, along with the improvement and development of his mental and physical skills, continue to improve. “Sean is a workhorse and I strongly believe that he will be the aggressor in Saturday night’s fight,” says Dr. Brad J. Jurica of MTI. At 170 lbs., Sean competes in the Welterweight division of the UFC and trains locally at Octagon MMA in Dallas, Texas. He has won his last two UFC matches and hopes to continue his streak this weekend in UFC 171. Both Sean and Will look to improve their record and impress the hometown crowd on Saturday night as they take the biggest stage in combat sports at the AT&T Center in Dallas, Texas.
