Mental Training, Inc. is now working with top sport psychologists in Croatia to bring cutting edge technology to the Balkans.

Leipzig, Germany (PRWEB) March 25, 2014

The international reach of Mental Training, Inc. (MTI) has expanded to the Balkan state of Croatia.  Recently, MTI Europe has been working with top Croatian sport psychology consultants Igor Čerenšek and Luka Škrinjarić.  The cooperation, which began with the Croatians using MTI’s mobile mental training app called MentalApp®, has already had a positive impact on the athletes using it.  Igor and Luka have been using MentalApp with their elite athlete clients for several months, including top Croatian tennis talents Jana Fett, who made it to the finals of the 2014 Junior Australian Open, and Borna Ćorić who won the 2013 Junior US Open singles.

Their athletes have found the MentalApp videos informative and the built-in monitoring program both simple and effective to use.  “MentalApp helped me to better organize and monitor my daily and weekly tasks. Also, it’s nice to see your progress and your engagement as you go through the season. For me it has become very useful and a needed tool when I am on the tour,” says Borna Ćorić.

Igor and Luka have been quick to acknowledge the value of monitoring and setting goals as well as keeping track of progress using the “7-day Trend” function. In addition, they use the videos to compliment their own knowledge and activities they use to build and sustain mental toughness at the highest levels of competition.

According to Igor and Luka, “We had high expectations for MentalApp, but what we’ve experienced was above and beyond.  We have all the mental training data for each of our athletes in one place which makes it much more professional.  We go through it in our meetings with athletes, we make sure everything is being done when we travel, and above all, we learned a few new things which enriched our current mental training program.”

MTI’s Director of European Operations, Peter Schneider, says this is only the beginning of MTI’s presence on the European continent.  There will be many more MTI Certified Mental Trainers® and more clubs and elite sport schools throughout Europe using MentalApp in the near future.  Says Schneider, “we are in discussions with clubs in England, the Netherlands, and Germany, as well as sport psychologists from Italy, Ireland, Spain and Greece.  I believe the current success story of Luka and Igor will be repeated by many others using MTI services throughout Europe.”
